This white poison may have a shady history: JAMA Internal Medicine and the New York Times recently reported that in the 1960’s, the Sugar Research Foundation (SRF), a trade group known today as the Sugar Association, paid Harvard scientists to publish a review downplaying evidence associating this white poison with heart disease. - EDUCATE yourself on the topic of SUGAR. I strongly recommend that you read the book Sugar Blues. This book will help you gain more information on the history of this white poison. I feel the more educated you become on the topic and understand how it negatively affects your body, the more inclined you are to rid of it from your diet. It will be easier to stay away from the “white poison”!

Hi! This is your Asheville Chiropractor, Dr. Nicole Lindsey! I love Italy!!! Especially the food! My favorite memory was getting lost in Tuscany and finding an Olive Oil Factory. The sweet Italian couple could not speak a lick of English (thank god for my Italian lessons before the trip ;-)) and invited us into their home. They gave us a tour of the factory, gave us samples of olive oil, then fed us meats, cheeses and homemade wine. We sat at their kitchen table having an Italian/English conversation for 2 hours. There is small circular muscle at the bottom of the esophagus—the lower esophageal sphincter (LES)—opens to let food pass through to the stomach, but closes immediately after each swallow passes, to prevent stomach acid from splashing up into the esophagus.
