We were pleased to welcome Dr. Bryan Gennett to our office. Dr. Gennett received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Gennett then went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2015. He is state and nationally board certified in Parts I, II, III, IV, and Physical Therapy. He has also received advanced training as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Graston Technique, and Class 4 Laser. He is married to Lisa, a 5th grade teacher. He enjoys hiking and is a CrossFit enthusiast and trainer.
While in his undergraduate program at Bellarmine, Dr. Gennett, was a 2 time All-American at Bellarmine University in the Pole Vault. After Dr. Gennetts’ undergraduate education, he found CrossFit lead him to increase his knowledge of nutrition and performance.
Dr. Gennett was first introduced to Chiropractic while at Bellarmine University. He sustained an ankle injury which forced him to sit out for a season. While injured he saw many health care providers including, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and orthopedic surgeons. During this time he was seeing a Chiropractor for a back injury received from the physical labors of pole vaulting. After six months of walking around in a walking boot, the Chiropractor finally asked if he could examine Dr. Gennetts’ injured ankle. The Chiropractor adjusted the injured ankle one time and that’s all it took. One adjustment and the debilitating pain that lasted for six months and baffled the other sports medicine doctors vanished and Dr. Gennett was back on his feet competing. After that moment Dr. Gennett was hooked on Chiropractic.
A few months later the Chiropractic was selling his practice to move closer to his family. On his last visit with his Chiropractor, he handed Dr. Gennett a letter of recommendation for a Chiropractic College, Palmer College of Chiropractic, and the rest is history.
