Workshops

Sitting and standing on the job account for much of the worker’s physical disability and health problems of today-problems we all have to pay for in workers compensation, lost time and lost quality. Today, the key is prevention.

You can help your workers avoid the problems incurred by improper sitting or standing habits. The results will be increased productivity and worker satisfaction, in addition to lower benefit claims. Dr. D’Ippolito offers several slide presentations:

These 45 minutes slide presentations are designed using the latest research and cover all the basics: the cause of most aches and pains, organizing and adjusting the work area, specific complaints from low back aches to headaches and how to handle them. Plus, relaxation techniques and exercises to control on the job stress. A question and answer period follows the training workshop, which we can schedule at your convenience during lunch breaks, between shifts, or after work.

Company Health & Safety Fairs

Most health problems can be avoided if a health screening is given on a regular basis. Due to either financial barrier or distance, taking advantage of preventative health care is often difficult. D’Ippolito Family Chiropractic Center overcomes both of these obstacles by bringing our service to your employees at no charge. The tests take about five minutes each and include:

• Health and Stress Survey
• Postural Screening
• Computerized Analysis of the Spine

The results are given the day of the health fair and information is available on various health conditions and topics. Licensed doctors and their assistants perform all of the tests and are able to answer health-related questions and give referrals.
